Every game day, as the energy on the field of Lowood Stags Rugby Club reaches fever pitch, another crucial part of our club hums with its own lively energy: our Club Canteen.

This buzzing hub doesn’t just serve up the best food in town, it also plays a pivotal role in our club’s financial health.

The Lowood Stags Canteen does far more than satiating the hunger of our cheering fans and energising our hardworking players – it’s a significant source of our club’s revenue. Every hot drink on a chilly day, every refreshing soft drink under the summer sun, and every hearty meal consumed contributes directly to the club’s ability to operate, grow, and support our beloved teams.

However, our canteen wouldn’t be the well-oiled machine it is without the selfless dedication and endless hard work of our amazing team of volunteers. It is their commitment that keeps the canteen open, the food hot, the drinks cold, and the smiles wide.

Our volunteers are the lifeline of our canteen, and we are deeply grateful for their invaluable contribution.

As we look forward to the 2024 season, we find ourselves in desperate need of a Canteen Coordinator!!

This role is central to the smooth running of our canteen operations and is a wonderful opportunity for anyone looking to make a significant contribution to the club. Without it, our canteen just cannot be!

The Canteen Coordinator will oversee the day-to-day operations of the canteen, manage our fantastic team of volunteers and play a key role in ensuring our club continues to thrive.

We welcome anyone who feels they can take on this rewarding role. Perhaps you’re a parent of one of our players or a local community member who loves the Stags and wants to support our club.
